The exhibition « Where the sky is pink and the grass is green » presents brand new series of works by luxembourgish artists Monique Becker (*1958) and Sali Muller (*1981).
Conceptual artist Sali Muller (*1981) uses artistic means to explore currently relevant issues, in particular those of identity and (self-) representation in the context of social change and in times of self-optimisation. Sali Muller marks exhibition spaces with light-reflecting installations and dazzling objects, often mirrors. Her visual comments become a reflection of a time where delusions increasingly play a significant role.
Sali Muller has studied Visual Art at the University Marc Bloch in Strasbourg, France. Sali’s work has been shown internationally at the IKOB Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgium, the Kallmann-Museum in Munich, Germany, the MAC Museo d‘Arte Contemporanea di Lissone in Italy, the Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen in Germany and the Times Art Museum in Beijing, Chengdu and Chongqing, China, amongst others. Between 2022 and 2023 Sali will have exhibitions at Kunstmuseum Heidenheim, Germany and MAMA Modern Art Museum of Algiers, North Africa, as well as gallery shows in Los Angeles, Berlin, Milan and Budapest.
